Snow leopards are facing extinction. Silent Range is a website for the UN SDG 15.7, protecting snow leopards by addressing their primary threat, regulatory killing. The platform replaces lost livestock income with conservation revenue through two main channels: Ethical, ranger-led tourism and an online marketplace. This therefore makes a snow leopard more valuable alive than dead to the herder. There are features like the leopard profiles that build emotional connection without invasive tracking, while a transparency dashboard validates impact. By funding predator proof corrals and patrols, Silent Range aligns herder livelihoods with wildlife survival, proving that economic stability is the strongest anti-poaching tool.
